Although I have been practicing yoga and meditation since my teenage years, it is only in the last several years that I have come to realize yoga's transforming ability. After many years of being a very stressed school teacher and a diabetic of 16 years, the pressures of a demanding job and the detrimental effects of heavy medication, including insulin, were taking their toll on my physical and emotional health. I was in urgent need to reset my physical, emotional and spiritual balance. In the process of finding this balance through yoga therapy and lifestyle changes, I am now able to control my sugar levels with no medication. I am pain free, I am happier, I am more peaceful than I have ever been.
Naturally, when I discovered something so spectacularly awe-inspiring; that I could heal myself physically and emotionally so easily and so simply, I want to share it with as many people as possible.
