Taoist Yoga weds the insights gained by thousands of years of acupuncture to the ancient wisdom of Yoga. - Paul Grilley
Yin yoga works by strengthening and stretching connective tissue - fascia, bones, joints to stop tissues from atrophy and deterioration, helping to regain mobility and ease body pain. Yin yoga, like the fountain of youth, keeps fascia hydrated, pliable and supple, thereby restoring the body to its youthfulness. It encourages mindfulness and meditation to help deepen spirituality.
Yoga Nidra is a powerful, scientifically proven practise that gently guides through four stages of brain wave activity to bring about total physical, mental, and emotional healing.
Chair Yoga for everyone especially those with mobility issues and seniors.
A balanced class of asana, pranayama and meditation.
(Classes will vary every week to include YY for one of the 12 meridian pairs like Liver/Gallblader. Or, for skeletal health: shoulders, lower back etc., and for
stress/anxiety.)
Last spring, Lenora offered a 2-week Yin Yoga workshop which I gladly joined. I was amazed what a great teacher she is. Not only does she have a profound and state of the art knowledge of yoga anatomy and fascia, but also, she was able to convey the material in stimulating ways so the students could take it in easily. (…). I personally learned a lot during her course and felt comfortable afterwards to go on and teach myself. What I liked most about Lenora is that she truly lives a yogic life style and therefore comes across very authentic! - Katrin S, Germany
I have been Lenora’s student for years now and it is amazing how she teaches and provides good advice and tips for your health and wellbeing. 3 years ago my orthopedic surgeon said that there was no chance to attend her yin yoga workshop due to my severe knee injury - crossed ligament twist...however only 6 days after this new practice, my pain was gone and my knee healed, and surgery plan aborted! More recently, thanks to her high qualifications in yoga therapy I got the chance to benefit from one-to-one specific personalized treatment for my back issue and must admit that I am now totally addicted to her daily simple and easy practice/exercises that ease my life and released my perpetual pain that I thought would always last! Thank you forever Lenora! - Christine V, France
“Thank you, Lenora for the training. I arrived on the first day with a difficult time with anger, frustration, and sadness to manage. At the end of the first week of practice, I already felt a really positive change and to finally feel totally at peace in a few days! It is always very impressive to discover all the resources we have in ourselves (…)” – Helene M, France
The 50 hour Yin Yoga course held by Lenora, was a fascinating journey for me I learnt so much about how to teach Yin Yoga, as well as the anatomy and theory behind the practice. Lenora is a warm and competent teacher, who loves to teach. Her passion for Yin Yoga is palpable. Thank you Lenora for a great experience. - Jane R, Cyprus
Lenora's knowledge of the body and also how personal trauma and emotions are linked to our general wellbeing is astounding ... I think it is great that such ancient knowledge (Yoga) is being taught and debated through academia and our universities ... Western medicine tends to focus on the area of injury however Yoga helps you to understand how the whole body is connected ... Lenora always acts in the best interests of anyone she meets. Her dedication to service of others and love of Yoga is very clear...I have always seen her treat everyone with utmost integrity and I am delighted that someone in our community provides such a wonderful source of energy and wisdom. - Sat GA, United Kingdom
Dr. Brigitte H, France
Lenora is a wonderful yoga teacher but is much more than that! She knows so much about the body and mind and she always makes sense. She is also a very calming person who naturally inspires trust. - Lee Crutchley, UK
I contacted Lenora Yoga regarding neck and back pain. Lenora created a 5 week personalized yoga therapy practice, which relieved my symptoms within one week!
I am truly thankful to her, and after 5 weeks I was astonished that my posture had changed. And that my neck and back pain was now manageable.
I have learned a lot about how I can help myself and have a plan to follow. Lenora's knowledge is vast and she is very patient with a gentle manner.
I also attend a weekly Yin Yoga class with Lenora which is superb too and really helps me to de-stress. - S. Walker, UK
I feel very blessed to have been exposed to yoga therapy … I can go as far as saying it has been life changing ... a wonderful healing modality that encompasses a person and their ailments as a whole - physically, emotionally and spiritually and this is something conventional medicine does not offer. I hope in the future it will be more widely accessible both in the private sector and the NHS ... Lenora is professional, dedicated and very knowledgeable. Her passion for yoga therapy and health shines through her work and she goes above and beyond to do what she loves. I'm inspired by the path she is on … - Dr Virupa R, United Kingdom
When I was introduced to Lenora and Yoga Therapy I was just going through the motions and was unconvinced that this would help me with my longstanding complex set of issues (depression, eating disorders, fibromyalgia to name a few). However, I can now say that yoga saved my life in more ways than one and in what seemed a very simple way. Lenora's knowledge of the different aspects of yoga is awe-inspiring, her deep understanding of things like yoga nidra to help with emotional unrest is what brought me through the darkness that was my life for many years. - Julie H, UK
Wonderful teacher and practitioner. She took the time to help me in a 1-2-1 format - fitting in with my day. We worked through the issues I was having (with my back) - not easy given the technology and lockdown. She put together a number of exercises which were deeply relaxing and soothing for the condition. Only a short while later these were emailed to me. She's great! - Rupert Sims, UK
I have been attending classes with Lenora for the past three months and have found relief from back pain. She is so knowledgable about the body and how it reacts to exercise. She is very sympathetic to her clients' needs and will respond to emails if there are any issues between classes. I really enjoy her classes, they are a highlight of our week. - Marilyn Gilliam, UK
It is always a great pleasure to meet Lenora, a genuine and knowledgeable teacher and coach. Her clear instruction yet calming voice brings bliss to my lessons. I enjoy her added explanation regarding meridians or different organs during each pose she guides us. She is warm and caring, always have this glow of light around her. I am glad to have found Lenora as my yoga teacher in the past three years. You will not be disappointed!. 💖 namaste. - Masaki C, Canada
Although I have been practicing yoga and meditation since my teenage years, it is only in the last several years that I have come to realize yoga's transforming ability. After many years of being a very stressed school teacher and a diabetic of 16 years, the pressures of a demanding job and the detrimental effects of heavy medication, including insulin, were taking their toll on my physical and emotional health. I was in urgent need to reset my physical, emotional and spiritual balance. In the process of finding this balance through yoga therapy and lifestyle changes, I am now able to control my sugar levels with no medication. I am pain free, I am happier, I am more peaceful than I have ever been.
Naturally, when I discovered something so spectacularly awe-inspiring; that I could heal myself physically and emotionally so easily and so simply, I want to share it with as many people as possible.
